I can charge by the word or by the hour, depending on my client’s preference. The general industry standard for proofreading rates is listed on the Editorial Freelance Association’s (EFA) website here: https://www.the-efa.org/rates/ . You will find that the rates I charge run slightly below the general industry standard.
I do offer free sample proofreading of up to 750 words. There’s no obligation on your part if you request this free sample.
Payments are processed securely via PayPal. Or, if you prefer, you may send payment via check.
Note: For large projects, I require a percentage of the total payment up front with the remaining percentage to follow upon project completion.
