Jot & Tittle was founded in 2021 by J. Nicole Starnes after she decided to leave the 9–5 corporate world behind to pursue her passion for proofreading. Based out of Chester, South Carolina, Jot & Tittle is here to ensure that your work stands out from the rest by eradicating such troublesome issues as typos, formatting errors, and duplicate words as well as issues with grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

J. Nicole, known affectionately as “Nikki” by those close to her, is a pastor’s wife and mother of two wonderful children. She is a West Virginia native but transplanted to South Carolina with her family at a young age. A graduate of North Greenville University, J. Nicole possesses a B.A. in English and recently earned a Certificate of Excellence in General Proofreading from Caitlin Pyle’s Proofread Anywhere course. In addition to proofreading, J. Nicole enjoys knitting, reading, and sketching.
